About Me

Larry, Daryl and Company bio page

Background:
Larry and Daryl are two buddies that grew up together. It seems like they have been together forever in grade school, high school, and growing up. In a small town just north of nowhere in the south east United States is where they decided to rent a place. Being typical guys, they always seem to be in some kind of trouble.

Daryl is unemployed as usual. Daryl is always trying to find himself.

I think everyone knows or knew a Daryl in his life, and a Larry too.

Larry

Larry comes from a little town in the southwest. His Mother was a stay at home mom and his father was a construction worker. Larry learned a lot from his Dad. When he was a child, his Dad would take him to work and teach him to build things.
Larry enjoys the simpler things in life like building things and working with his hands.
Larry was a good student. He played sports and served as class president. As Larry grew up, his talent for working with wood increased until one day after high school he was offered a job as an apprentice in a cabinet making shop. There he worked for 3 years, creating all kinds of things. From there he worked with a construction company, where he was offered a job as master carpenter. Larry is very, very good at whet he does.
As the building trades dried up as they usually do in a small town, Larry was forced to work for a corporation as a mail person. When the corporation downsized, Larry and others were laid off.
This suited Larry fine because he hated his job and longed to one work again as a carpenter.
Larry knew Daryl since they were small children. The were always together. Larry tutored Daryl in all his subjects in school. Daryl was like a brother to Larry, and since Larry was an only child, this was pretty cool.
Larry's first love was Sally. She was the light of his life. Then she met the light of her life.. and she was gone.

Daryl

Larry also comes from a little town in the southwest.
Daryl is not what you would call the sharpest knife in the drawer. He's not a bright child. His mother was a factory worker and his Dad worked in the coal mines.
Growing up, Daryl seldom saw his Mom or Dad. He was a "latch-key" child. His Mom worked days while Daryl was in school, and his Dad worked the night shift, so Daryl was always getting into trouble as a kid. His grades were below average. In fact, he would have failed were it not for Larry's tutoring.
But Daryl has a heart of gold. He'd do anything for anyone. He's always polite and kind, but a bit slow at times.
As for his career, Daryl was not what you would call an over achiever. You name it, and he's worked there.
His favorite line is "Oh well. Time to start over.".

Daryl is an avid reader and lover of movies. In his late teens, he was voted most likely to go to the movies 15 times a week. He even learned to drive while reading a book. Reading was his only good subject. Fantasy novels mostly. Science Fiction movies, old movies, and cartoons.
No girl friend in Daryl's life yet, but he is looking.

Paul

Paul appears to be the homeless man from out in the streets but is he really?

And no, Paul is not Jesus.

Paul seems to show up right as the boys need help.

Paul is a well educated man. Why is he a street person?

Reggie

Reggie runs the Los Arms apartment complex.
What can I say about Reggie? Everyone loves Reggie. He has a joke for every occasion.
People will tell you "Every time I see Reggie, he's always in that stupid gray suit.
Bet he even wears it to the beach".

Colley

Interesting person. Colley makes her living as a "lady of the evening".

Other then that, not much is known about Colley yet.

Stay tuned. I have a feeling Colley is going to be a regular.
